Journey

0 min read
While in Indigo books over the weekend I came across this beautiful kids book "Journey" by Aaron Becker. The book was inspirational to me. I've been unable to devote the time I'd like to my personal projects but this book has me thinking about them again. The series of children's books I'd like to do would be presented in a similar vein to this piece. You should definitely go see Arron's work at his website. http://www.storybreathing.com/ Onward and upward.

Just listening to a book called Rework. The author suggests approaching big decisions and project one tiny piece at a time. Focusing on small goals that you can complete and feel good about. Finishing these small goals give you confidence and increase your momentum toward finishing the large project. Peace!

I recently entered the 2010 Applied Arts Photography & Illustration Annual Competition. The entry was the piece in my gallery titled Victory March. The piece won! As a winner, the piece will be printed in the June/July Illustration Annual and featured at the year end exhibition. This is a huge honor and a blessing! You can check the piece out using the following link. http://lpd-corey.deviantart.com/art/Victory-March-Self-Promo-151536039
